The polls for round two are closed and we move on to the round three quarterfinals.

The six gals that were fortunate enough to receive round one byes were systematically annihilated in round two.  Of the girls with a bye, only Melissa-SF was able to garner enough votes to advance to the quarterfinals.  Most of the matches in round two were won by large margins.  It will be interesting to see if that trend continues – with one woman in each matchup standing out as the clear favorite (despite the burgeoning competition) – or, as the contest stiffens, the results becoming increasingly close.

The battle between blondes and brunettes were more evenly matched in round two.  The opening round saw the blondes take a huge hit.  This round saw the blondes split with the brunettes in bouts that pitted one against the other.  Three blondes and four brunettes remain in contention for the 1st place crown.  Anjelica-SD, the lone redhead in the contest, rounds out the field.

The polls are now closed for the opening round of the 1st Annual Clash of the Pro Bowl Cheerleaders.  The tournament began with 26 gals: 14 blondes, 11 brunettes, and one redhead outlier.  The opening salvo was savage.  Ten beautiful women were eliminated from the tournament.

The blondes took the biggest hit in the first round.  A solid half was eliminated.  In head-to-head competition, brunettes outscored their blonde counterparts 50-34 and prevailed in four of five matchups.  But no one knows how the winnowing process will continue to play out.  It takes only one fair-haired maiden to capture the crown.  Or will the inaugural champion be a redhead?  Anjelica, the lone ginger in the tournament, posted a dominant 15-1 first round victory.  She, along with Casey, the blonde bombshell representing the Texans, shared the largest opening round score of 15.

The closest matchup in round one occurred between two young women with the same given name: Courtney.  Courtney (Sea) had an early lead in this matchup, but Courtney (Bal) rallied.  Both finished round one tied with eight votes.  Yours truly, the website owner, broke the tie.  Courtney (Bal) was given the nod to advance to the next round.

Welcome to the 1st Annual Clash of the Pro Bowl Cheerleaders 2014!

Each year, the best NFL players are nominated to participate in the Pro Bowl.  These players exemplify the cream of the NFL crop.  But did you know that the NFL also has a ‘starting’ Pro Bowl cheerleading team?  It’s true.  Of course, not every team in the NFL has cheerleaders, but most do.  This year, 26 beautiful women will represent their squads in the Pro Bowl.

The 2014 NFL Pro Bowl cheerleaders represent the epitome of beauty, personality, and intelligence.  They are the best of the best.  But that begs the question?  Which of these beautiful cheerleaders is the finest of them all?  I’ve created a tournament to find out.

The Clash of the Pro Bowl Cheerleaders 2014 tournament pits each Pro Bowl cheerleader against another in a head-to-head battle royale.  You, the Football WebLog readers, will vote for the cheerleader of your choice in each matchup.  Unfortunately the only basis for your vote will be the cheerleader’s picture, but it will have to suffice.  Polls will remain open for one week each round.  Winners of each tournament round will advance to the next round, week-by-week, until the 2014 Clash of the Pro Bowl Cheerleaders 2014 Champion is crowned!
