In case you didn’t catch the footage of the flooding of Stadium Bowl in Tacoma, Washington, last month, check it out.  Stadium Bowl is a 15,000 seat stadium that’s shared as home field to a couple of high school teams in Tacoma.  It’s my understanding that it’s not uncommon for the stadium to flood – it’s happened before after heavy rains – but it’s still a sight to see.

Thank you Veterans

Thank you Veterans

On Veterans Day, put out your flags, cheer the marchers at parades, and go to tributes.  But when you wake up the next day, Nov. 12, remember that it’s still Veterans Day for our veterans — and it will be every day of their lives.

The NFL uses “flexible scheduling” on Sundays in Weeks 11-17.  This gives them an opportunity to reschedule games that promise more dramatic interest into primetime television slots.  The NFL recently announced the following November 22nd flexible schedule changes for week 11.

  • The Kansas City Chiefs will play the San Diego Chargers at 4:05 PM EST instead of 8:30 PM EST.
  • The Green Bay Packers will play the Minnesota Vikings at 4:25 PM EST instead of 1:00 PM EST.
  • The Cincinnati Bengals will play the Arizona Cardinals at 8:30 PM EST instead of 4:05 PM EST.

I’ve updated the Football Weblog One Page 2015 Schedule to include these changes.  The links to these ready-to-print forms in PDF format are below.  Enjoy!
