A proprietary algorithm that determines an NFL team’s ability to win and score points is built into every Football Weblog cheatsheet.  It turns out this algorithm is also proving to be a great approach to creating an NFL Power Ranking.  The most exciting part of it for me is that the algorithm results are pure calculation.  Any personal bias I may have for a particular team is precluded, and the calculations inevitably result in surprises.

In order to showcase the accuracy of this system, I’m laying bare the results for you and others to see.  And though these calculations do not take into account the myriad factors that go into professional football handicapping, I’ve even decided to use the results to see how they compare against Las Vegas odds.

Enough said!  Below are Football Weblog’s week 2 power rankings and football picks!

Week 1 of the 2017 NFL season is in the books.  Hurricane Irma postpones the Buccaneers-Dolphins opener, Marshawn Lynch returns and looks like his old self, and David Johnson leaves the game with what looks like a serious wrist injury. The biggest story of week 1, however, is whether or not your fantasy football team won.

Win or lose, be sure to check out Football Weblog’s beauteous and foxy cheatsheets to either right your sinking fantasy ship or to be the catalyst to a 2-0 start!  Select the link below to download the week 2 edition of Football Weblog’s free fantasy football cheatsheet!
